My 5-year-old nephew has super powers. He can shoot lasers out of his shoes and he wears an invisible belt that allows him to jump really high - and these capacities are only the tip of the iceberg. But it gets confusing sometimes. Some days I think he's "super" but he informs me: "No, Aunt G, I'm just an ordinary citizen." To help me detect which days his super powers are active and which days, like Clark Kent or Bruce Wayne, he has to attend to "regular person" activities, I found the ultimate solution. The blue-with-silver-sparkle "Super Reese" shirt Sonia at Sunshine's Designs made for him has made his daily superhero status perfectly clear. I presented it to him on his birthday and he expressed great delight even though it was a piece of clothing and not another Lightning McQueen-related object. My sister-in-law informs me that he loves the shirt and calls it his "shirt with the diamonds." When I presented the idea to Sonia, she was very positive and engaged in the process of finding out what would work best. After the shirt was completed, it arrived in a nice little package with some care instructions. Very well done and totally professional. Next I'm getting a logo for my magazine!

No picture could ever do Sonia's work justice. Even though I knew what my fairy shirt was supposed to look like, I was completely surprised when I opened the package. The sparkling effect of the crystals when they catch the light is amazing! I'm thrilled with the finished product and have already begun thinking of new designs for her to do. If you want something completely unique and eye-catching this is definitely the route to go.

I needed something fabulous to wear at an event for the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. As you might guess, in a group of 200 performers, it absolutely had to stand out. Being a fan of all things 80s, and having ultimate trust in Sonia's abilities, I ordered a "Xanadu" t-shirt...let me tell you, it was a big hit. No one could believe that it was made by hand. A few weeks before Christmas, I was still trying to figure out what to get my mom. She's one of those people that is really hard to buy for - thinking of unique things every year is difficult. I'd seen Sonia's work on her blog and always loved her shirts - they are creative and beautiful. So, I thought it would be as great gift idea for my mom. My kids call her 'gorgeous gram' so what better thing to have put on a shirt for her!!? Sonia was a big help in deciding everything - shirt color, crystal color, and font. She got the shirt to me in time for Christmas too! My mom LOVED it and put it on right away!
